Two Arizona Teens Found Fatally Shot In Remote Forest, Sparking Homicide Investigation

Posted on June 6, 2025

GoFundMe pages have been set up by their families, who are mourning the devastating loss. Evan’s mother described him as a kind, thoughtful, and entrepreneurial young man, while Pandora was remembered for her love of animals, music, and the outdoors.

Two Arizona teens, Pandora Kjolsrud (18) and Evan Clark (17), were tragically found dead from gunshot wounds in the Tonto National Forest on May 27, 2025. The two had gone camping over Memorial Day weekend, and their deaths have been ruled homicides by the Maricopa County Medical Examiner.

Authorities are treating the case as suspicious and are conducting a detailed investigation to ensure justice for the victims. The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has asked for public patience and respect during the ongoing inquiry.
