Teddi Mellencamp, star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, had been experiencing “severe and debilitating” headaches and was later hospitalized for “unbearable” discomfort.
The TV personality, who was part of the reality show for three seasons, revealed that following the doctor’s visit, they discovered she had multiple tumors in her brain.
“Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization,” Mellencamp wrote on her Instagram page Wednesday. “After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumours on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least six months.”
She informed her followers that doctors would surgically remove two of the tumors that day, February 12. The rest of the tumors, the smaller ones, will “be dealt with via radiation at a later date.” Read more below

Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalisation.” She went on to reveal the extent of her condition, stating: “After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumours on my brain, which they believed have been growing for at least 6 months. Expressing her gratitude, she concluded: “I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health. She uploaded a picture of herself in a hospital bed surrounded by medical equipment, captioning it: “Counting down the minutes until my babies get here,” and expressing trust in her surgeons and optimism for a positive outcome. In a moment of levity, she recorded a video of a friend shaving her head in the hospital room, making light of her new hairstyle. “I’m going to have this look on my bucket list! ” she joked, then followed up with: “My best look! ” Accompanying the clip, she made a playful reference to Britney Spears’ well-documented episode in 2007 with the line: “All I need is an umbrella.”
She then bounced back into bed, playfully sparking a bit of sibling competition over who could pull off the buzz cut best. “I hate to break it to my brother, but once I’m allowed to wash my hair and it’s not all spiky I think I’ve taken you for a run for your money, Hud.
