President Donald Trump has found himself in many difficult situations, and sometimes he seems to speak before he thinks about his words. This includes what he said about Bruce Springsteen being a ‘dried out prune’.
Undoubtedly, there is no love lost between Donald Trump and Bruce Springsteen, and now that they have drawn the line, others are taking their side. This includes Bono, who is certainly siding on the side of Bruce Springsteen.
It happened when the 65-year-old frontman from U2 was on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show. He said: “There’s only one boss in America.”
It began recently when Springsteen was getting his European tour started in Manchester earlier in May. He told fans that the US was being ruled by a ‘corrupt, incompetent and treasonous’ leadership.
Trump fired back angrily, saying that the ‘dried out prune of a rocker’ should just keep his mouth shut. He also warned that when Springsteen returned to the United States there could be consequences.
Bono also spoke about the May 19 unsolicited attack Trump made against Bono on social media. He lumped him in with artists who were supposedly paid to perform for Democrat Kamala Harris prior to the election in 2024.
